Snoqualmie Falls.

A Pirate. A scary Pirate.

First view of the Columbia River!

Almost there!

A line of cars on the way into the Gorge.

We decided to sleep in a little on our second day. We had a long day on the 6th so we decided to take it easy. We headed back toward Seattle to Snoqualmie Falls, which was a lot bigger than either one of us had expected it to be. It was a beautiful water fall and I can only imaine what it would look like during Spring runoff.

We spent about twenty minutes there, then went on into Seattle and caught a noon showing of Pirates of the Caribbean, a fantastic movie!

After the movie we went straght to the lodge to get our tickets, and directly to the Gorge. It was a beautiful drive (which I will talk more about in Day 3), and we were soon in the parking lot of the Ampitheater. We didn't know how strict they would be concerning cameras, so we left our behind. I wish we would have brought them in, because they couldn't have cared less.

We had great seats on the floor, and met some really cool people. It was a great crowd, with the exception of "the yeller" directly behind us. He would yell at the top of his lungs, then tell his girlfriend how loud he could yell. She was suprisingly proud of her deep lunged man, as any drunk woman should be. Our new friend had enough bleeding ear drums for one night and asked him to shut up....from then on, the night was perfect.

It was a great set in a perfect place...one of the best shows I have been to. On to the second show, and final day of our trip!
